Requirements
The ideal candidate will be active and hands-on in completing the assigned marketing and digital marketing tasks, including field assignments. Experience of sales and marketing is a must. Preference will be given to those candidates with newspaper or magazine ad sales experience. A team player and team leader attitude is a must. High levels of accountability and initiative are required for this position. Should possess good communication and presentation skills and fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages, especially Hindi and Marathi, are a plus.
About the Company
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Should be able to identify the potential customers and new avenues for membership programme, magazine subscriptions and advertisement space selling
2. Should be able to initiate discussions with potential customers and event sponsors – individual & corporate
3. Should be ambitious to achieve and excel the given targets
4. Organise and attend seminars, conferences, events or attend customer meetings. Occasional travel may be involved.
5. Organise quarterly events in Mumbai for all members and undertake duties of logistics, event planning, event execution, guest relations, bookings, crowd management, etc.
6. Execute digital marketing campaigns along with the Communications Manager to strengthen online presence and generate leads.
7. Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales funnel
